...with these words my course leader at University in England was to share his worries. The style of work I was producing was obviously different from one of the other students and therefore in his eyes, I was not "fitting" with the rest. These words were unquestionably not to be taken as a compliment.
Probably to his deception (...and surprise), as soon as I heard this sentence I was to interpret it as a compliment and furthermore it was a "Revelation".
Within one sentence, he had managed to depict my style and creative approach. He was right by saying this to me but instead of "fighting" it, as he was expecting me to do, I embraced it.
In the creation of ob27 I have strived to create a studio that produces stylish graphics, commercial illustrations and designs.
Using my "romantic approach" with an expressive use of colours, precise lines, strategy and ingenuity I link the elegant facets of the creative world to those of the commercial industries.
In these modern and fast paced environments I believe ob27 adds a touch of romance, transporting people to a world of imagination and surprise. With a strong story behind every design, the aim is to touch and engage an audience to create an emotional response.
